For people who use Saner mostly to ask their files

Saner AI Alternative and Saner AI Pricing for Your Own Documents

Short answer: Saner.AI lists Starter at $8 a month and Standard at $16 a month, with 30 or 100 AI requests a day and PDF uploads capped at 5 or 10 MB per file. It is built as an ADHD-friendly assistant for email, tasks and notes. If what you actually pay for is asking your reports, client files and old notes a question, MentalClone answers only from those documents, in your own voice, with 100 MB uploads and no daily message cap on paid plans.

Saner AI pricing plan by plan

Saner.AI has three public plans. The pricing page shows Starter at $8 a month and Standard at $16 a month, plus a yearly toggle marked 20% off. Every plan, Free included, gets the same integrations (Google Drive, email, Slack and Calendar), OCR, the Chrome extension and the mobile app. What changes between plans is how much AI you can use per day and how big a PDF you can upload.

Standard advertises unlimited AI messages, with an asterisk: usage has to stay reasonable under the terms of service, and AI requests (search, tagging, image descriptions) stop at 100 a day. The yearly option takes 20% off. A new free account gets a one-time bonus of 50 AI requests and 10 MB PDFs, with no card.

Saner runs your day, MentalClone answers from your archive

Saner.AI is a personal assistant first. It reads your inbox and calendars, turns emails and brain dumps into tasks, and lets you ask questions across notes, files and the web from one chat. For someone with ADHD juggling messages and deadlines, that proactive nudging is the product, and it is good at it.

The friction shows up when the job is different. A consultant with three years of client reports, a coach with a hundred session notes, or an author with every draft they have written does not need a task list. They need the archive to answer, the way they would answer, and they hit a 10 MB PDF ceiling and a daily request counter on the way.

MentalClone is built only for that second job. You upload PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, slides, scans and exported notes up to 100 MB each. Every answer comes from your documents, cites the ones it used, and is written in your tone because your own writing is the source.

Moving from Saner to MentalClone in four steps

1

Export what matters

Download the reports, decks and notes you ask about most. Plain text, PDF, DOCX and XLSX all work.

2

Upload in one pass

Drop the files into your library. Scans and photos of pages go through OCR on paid plans.

3

Ask in plain English

"What did I recommend to the Denver client on pricing?" The answer quotes the files it came from.

4

Share a link

Create a share link so a client or colleague can ask your clone directly. Revoke it any time.

Saner AI alternatives compared on price and fit

Five tools people move to from Saner, with prices from each vendor's own pricing page. Pick by the job you need done, not by the feature list.

Motion Paid plans, trial first Auto-scheduling tasks into your calendar People who used Saner mainly for planning, not notes

If planning was the reason you signed up for Saner, Motion or Saner itself is the better buy. If notes were the reason, read our Mem AI alternative comparison and the Notion AI pricing breakdown before deciding.

Who switches from Saner to MentalClone

Independent consultants

Years of decks and memos, each over 10 MB. They want to ask "what did we decide last time" and get the answer in their own framing, then send a client the share link.

Coaches and advisors

Session notes, frameworks and worksheets they have refined for years. Clients can ask the clone between sessions and hear the same approach the coach would give.

Authors and founders

Newsletters, drafts, investor updates and talks. They use the clone to find what they already said and to draft new text that sounds like them.

Two honest limits. MentalClone does not read your inbox or calendar and does not manage tasks, so it does not replace that half of Saner. And it costs more than Saner Standard. You pay for a private library that answers in your voice, not for a daily planner.

Questions people ask about Saner AI alternatives

What is the best Saner AI alternative?

+

It depends on why you use Saner. For planning and calendar control, Motion. For a team workspace with AI, Notion AI. For asking your own reports and notes a question and getting the answer in your own voice, MentalClone. For one research project at a time with cited answers, Gemini Notebook.

How much does Saner AI cost?

+

Saner.AI lists three plans. Free is $0 with 30 AI requests a month and 100 notes. Starter is $8 a month with 30 AI requests a day, 1,000 notes and 5 MB PDFs. Standard is $16 a month with 100 AI requests a day, unlimited notes and 10 MB PDFs. Yearly billing takes 20% off.

Is Saner AI free?

+

There is a free plan, but it is small: 30 AI messages and 30 AI requests a month, 100 notes, 1 MB PDFs and 100 MB of storage. New accounts get a one-time bonus of 50 AI requests. Anyone using it for daily work runs into the monthly cap within a week or two.

Is Saner AI good for ADHD?

+

That is what it is designed for. Saner turns emails and brain dumps into tasks, prioritizes what to do next and resurfaces things you forgot, which suits people who lose track across many tools. If your problem is finding and reusing what you already wrote, a document-first tool fits better.

Is there an alternative to Saner AI for large PDFs?

+

Yes. Saner caps PDFs at 10 MB per file even on Standard. MentalClone accepts files up to 100 MB, reads text PDFs up to 120 pages and scanned PDFs up to 40 pages per file, and runs OCR on scans on every paid plan. Very long manuals are better split into parts.

Can I share my notes AI with clients?

+

With MentalClone, yes. You create a share link, the client asks questions, and the clone answers only from the documents you uploaded, in your tone. You can revoke the link at any time. Saner is a personal assistant tied to your own inbox and calendar, so it is not built for client access.

How much does MentalClone cost?

+

Starter is 199 PLN a month (about $54) or 1,194 PLN a year, about $27 a month. Professional is 399 PLN a month (about $108) and reads three times more of your documents for each answer. Both include unlimited documents and messages. The demo at the top gives you three questions first.
